August was birthday month, and not just for me. Frore turned two years old, which means two whole years of lingerie boxes, Goddesses, photoshoots, surprise gifts and me finding increasingly elaborate reasons for us all to buy more beautiful underwear!!
MEANING this month had to feel like a celebration. Champagne, yes please. Goddess behaviour ALWAYS.
Meet Euphrosyne, Goddess of joy and happiness, and the inspiration behind August’s Frore lingerie box. She felt like the perfect Goddess for a month that already had so much to celebrate, and I wanted the whole box to feel exactly like that: playful, colourful, feminine and full of joy.
I truly believe we spend far too much time waiting for something big enough to celebrate. The promotion, the birthday, the holiday, the special dinner. I’m always saying open the champagne on a Tuesday, light the expensive candle and wear the fancy lingerie. Stop saving all your good stuff for another day. Life is too short and far too beautiful.
So, without further ado, wear the fancy lingerie and let’s get into this month’s unboxing.

Meet Euphrosyne, Goddess of joy
Euphrosyne is the Goddess of joy, so for August I wanted everything to feel like a celebration of enjoying yourself and doing things simply because they make you happy.
The whole collection came together around that feeling. I didn’t want anything too serious or overly polished. I wanted colour, sparkle, something gorgeous to wear and a little reminder that confidence doesn’t always have to be about changing yourself or becoming somebody new. Sometimes confidence is just enjoying who you already are a little more.
That was exactly the energy I wanted for Frore’s second birthday too.
This month’s lingerie
Now for the important bit.
August’s lingerie was a gorgeous pink three-piece set sprinkled with sparkle and little flashes of colour, and it couldn’t have suited Euphrosyne more.
The sparkle catches the light beautifully, while the colourful details make the whole set feel playful without losing that really feminine feel I always want from Frore. It’s the kind of set that makes getting dressed feel more exciting before you have even worked out what you’re putting over the top of it.
That is one of the things I love most about a lingerie box. Most of us naturally gravitate towards the same colours, shapes and styles when we shop for ourselves, but a surprise gives you the chance to open something you might never have chosen and completely fall in love with it.

A little amethyst for Euphrosyne
Every month, you don’t just unbox a beautiful set of lingerie. There is also a gift and a confidence activity card inside.
For August, the gift was a lilac amethyst crystal stone, which fitted the colours of the box so beautifully.
Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm, balance, clarity and protection, which I loved alongside Euphrosyne’s joyful energy. Joy doesn’t always have to mean a huge party or a massive celebration. Sometimes it’s the little things that make you feel calmer, happier and more like yourself.
Whether you love the meanings behind crystals or you simply want something beautiful sitting on your dressing table, it felt like such a lovely little piece to keep after the box had been opened.
And aesthetically, lilac amethyst next to pink sparkly lingerie was always going to work.
The Goddess card
Inside every Frore box you’ll also find a Goddess confidence card.
The card introduces you to that month’s Goddess, explains why I chose her and gives you a confidence-building activity inspired by the theme.
For Euphrosyne, everything came back to joy. Not waiting until you’ve achieved something huge before allowing yourself to celebrate, but actually noticing the things that make you happy now and giving yourself permission to enjoy them.
Frore is more than lingerie and lace, it’s a feeling. I want you to feel amazing in the set, excited from the moment you open the box and hopefully a little more confident by the time you’ve finished the activity on your Goddess card.

The August photoshoot
If the box was going to be joyful, colourful and celebratory, the photoshoot had to be too. And yes, there was cake because we were celebrating TWO YEARS of Frore after all.
We shot the August set with Kally at Studio 101 and went full retro pink Malibu Barbie. Pink, playful, slightly over the top and exactly the world this set belonged in.
I actually shot this photoshoot myself, so whilst I’m definitely not about to start calling myself a photographer, I am obsessed with how the images came out. I also created reels with that old-school retro camcorder feel because once I had started with the vintage Malibu Barbie mood, there was no going back.
It’s always one of my favourite parts of creating a box, watching the idea go from a Goddess and a moodboard to the lingerie, the gift, the card and then finally seeing the whole thing come together in the photos.
Two years of Frore
Two years feels a little surreal.
Two years of choosing lingerie, finding new Goddesses, packing boxes, planning photoshoots and sending surprise sets out to women across the UK.
There have been lots of changes along the way, but one thing I never want to lose is the feeling of somebody opening a Frore box and having absolutely no idea what I’ve chosen for them.
That surprise is such a huge part of it for me.
August felt like the perfect way to celebrate how far Frore has come, with a Goddess completely dedicated to joy and a box that didn’t take itself too seriously.
