Unndr, the lingerie subscription club founded by Sofia Panwar, sadly has officially closed its doors in July 2026, four years after it first launched. If you've been searching for what happened to Unndr, or you're one of the many women who loved unboxing an Unndr set each month, I wanted to write something properly rather than a quick note.
I'm Lorna, founder of Frore The Lingerie Club. I've watched Sofia build something amazing, and this isn't a blog about Frore. It's simply a thank you to her and everything she created.
What Was Unndr?
Sofia started Unndr at 24, filming from her bedroom long before it grew into a brand with its own fulfilment. Unndr built its identity around self-care and confidence, encouraging women to feel powerful and seen through lingerie rather than dressing for anyone else. Over four years it grew into one of the UK's most recognised lingerie subscription brands, and Sofia shared her own story, a former lawyer turned founder.
Why Sofia Closed Unndr
In July 2026, Sofia shared on LinkedIn that she was closing Unndr after four years. She spoke about the pressure and uncertainty behind the scenes that don't show up in a launch photo or a sold-out box, and said the decision came down to knowing when to walk away rather than push harder. She wasn't starting again from nothing, she said. She was starting from experience. It's a rare thing for a founder to talk about closing a business that honestly, and it deserves recognition rather than speculation.

I just want to be really clear, this isn’t me trying to swoop in. What Sofia built was amazing. As another woman building a lingerie subscription brand, I know how much work goes into every single box, every launch, every photoshoot and everything people never see behind the scenes. How painfully difficult it is to create content that can be posted without being taken down. The constant setbacks of restricted socials are truly trying.
She did it. She led the way and I am in awe. In a social media industry where lingerie is taboo, yet the older giant brands aren’t held to the same consequences, she has done nothing short of incredible.
