Dare to Sin photoshoot

The October photoshoot for Frore had one brief: dark, dramatic, unapologetically bold.

We called it Dare to Sin.

Inspired by the Persephone set — our October lingerie subscription box, inspired around the Greek Goddess of the Underworld — the concept leaned fully into shadow, contrast, and feminine power. Persephone is a goddess of duality: flowers and darkness, innocence and power, warmth and the underworld. We wanted the shoot to hold both.

The Set

The Persephone set is our most dramatic to date: deep plum and black lace, intricate detail, structured silhouette. It's lingerie that has something to say. The kind of set you put on and feel your whole energy shift.

The Shoot

We worked with a stunning model who brought exactly the energy the concept needed: soft and fierce in equal measure. The location was moody and atmospheric — think velvet textures, dark florals, candlelight.

We shot for hours. The kind of creative day where you lose track of time because everything is flowing.

The results were exactly what we hoped for: images that feel like luxury lingerie has always looked like this. Like power has always been this feminine.

Dare to Sin

We called the shoot Dare to Sin because there's something subversive about a woman who fully, deliberately chooses herself. Who wears the beautiful set not for a partner, not for an occasion, but because she can. Because she deserves to feel like this every day.

That's the dare. And it's not really a sin at all.
